Graciela Saenz

Graciela Saenz more commonly known as Gracie Saenz is a partner with the law firm of Winstead, P.C. Her area of concentration is Government Relations and Public Finance.

She is a proud native Houstonian and a graduate of the public schools (Marshall Middle School & Jeff Davis High School). She graduated from the University of Houston majoring in Spanish and then went on to get her law degree from the University of Houston Law Center. She became an Assistant District Attorney, had her own law office, ran for City Council, served on City Council for three (2- year) terms, ran for Mayor in 1997, set up another law firm and eventually came to work with Winstead in 2008.

Gracie has continued to serve her community thru her volunteer work serving on numerous boards, commissions and organizations. She currently sits on the following Board of Directors: the Memorial/Hermann Hospital Systems; the Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the American Leadership Forum; Project Grad – Houston; College of Biblical Studies and the Plaza Group. She is a proud member of Oaklawn Presbyterian Church where she teaches Sunday school to junior high students and also leads home bible studies. She is also the proud mother of three great kids and the grandmother of five fantastic grandchildren.
